Cooper to speak to ambassadors

Alana Cooper, executive director of the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau will speak to the Ambassador's Club at noon on Tuesday, June 2.

The Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau markets Ouachita Parish to the travel and tourism industry, including working to draw tournaments and conventions to Ouachita Parish and works in cooperation with area hotels, restaurants and attractions to market Ouachita Parish as a place to visit, shop and host an event.

The CVB also works in collaboration with the Monroe Chamber, the City of Monroe and the Northeast Louisiana Film Commission to attract the film industry to northeast Louisiana.

The June meeting of the Ambassador's will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Monroe.

The cost for lunch is $11 per person. All chamber members are invited to attend.
