She was preceded in death by her father, William Huey Avant and her nephew, Mathew Avant. Buford James Bruce Buford James (B.J. Or Scout) Bruce, 83, of West Monroe, passed away at home on Friday, May 15, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Clemons Andrew Bruce and Ira Amanda Goasha Bruce and his brother, Reggie Bruce. She was preceded in death by her husband George Bennie Goyne, and her parents Clara Meta Moore and Rev. T.W. Wagnon. Survivors include her daughter Glenda Salley (and the late John Salley ) of West Monroe; grandchildren, John Lambert and wife, Jennifer Lambert ,of West Monroe, Katherine Claire Clary and husband, Raymond Clary, of Cape Coral, Fla., and Susannah Ruth Salley of West Monroe; great-grandchildren, Stephan "Alex" Clary of Cape Coral, Fla., Lauren Katherine Lambert of West Monroe, and Sarah Lambert Payne, and husband, Cody Payne, of Pineville; great-great grandchild, Adam Payne of Pineville; Siblings, Cortez Wagnon and wife, Melva, Wagnon of Little Rock, Ark., John C Wagnon and wife, Pauline, Wagnon of Lafayette, Mary Buckley and husband, A.C.
