He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Walker Bishop and Mildred Smoot Bishop of Tuscaloosa, Ala. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Mary Virginia Bishop; sons, Wade Bishop and wife, Kathy, and Andy Bishop all of West Monroe, and Mike Bishop of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Chris, Michael Patrick, all of West Monroe; sister, Mary Norma Morton and husband, Max; brother-in-law, Bill Threadgill and wife, Kathleen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rev. Henry A. Berry Rev. Henry A. Berry, 91, of West Monroe, died April 28, 2009, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a very lengthy illness. His celebration and homegoing service was at 3 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Revs. Shane Warren and Butch Pilcher officiating. Interment was at Hasley Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his son, John Michael Berry. Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Jane Moore Berry; a sister, Marguerite Jacks; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were nephews and included Leonard Shoemaker, Tim, Richard, and Jud Moore, Chris Sullivan and Freeman Blaney.
