CVB issues final call for photo entries
Deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 6
The deadline is almost here to enter the Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau's 3rd Annual Photography Contest.
The contest is free to enter and provides more than $700 in awards.
This year's theme is involves the top two activities of the Twin Cities' visitors: eating and shopping. Each entry must either showcase restaurants or shopping in Ouachita Parish.
The deadline to enter is May 6 by 5 p.m.
The winners will be announced at a reception during National Tourism Awareness Week, May 9-17. Awards will be given to winners in adult and student divisions. Winning photos will also be exhibited at the Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau from May 12 - July 1, 2008.
Photos may be placed in national advertisements and other materials to promote the Monroe-West Monroe area.
