Bradie James plans annual football camp
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Former West Monroe High School and LSU football star Bradie James will hold his annual football camp on Saturday, June 20, at Rebel Stadium in West Monroe.

The camp is free for students ages 9-16 but registration forms can be found at www.bradiejames.net and must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian.

The first 100 students registered for the camp will be eligible for gifts and prizes. The camp will run from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on June 20.

Campers will get one-on-one instruction from James and some of his football friends.

This is the fourth consecutive year that James has come back to his hometown to host a summer camp for local youth.

James led West Monroe in tackles during a Class 5A state championship season in 1998 before embarking on successful playing career at LSU.

James was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003 and is one of the mainstays on their defensive front.
