The St. Frederick Warriors completed the final piece to the district championship puzzle Monday night with a 7-1 win over rival Ouachita Christian School.

Zach LaSuzzo led the way with three RBI as the Warriors beat OCS for the second time in as many attempts.

Matt Kennedy and Mark Laird each went 1-for-3 to lead the Eagles at the plate from the top of the batting order.

Laird drove Kennedy in after a double in the first inning that plated the lone run for OCS and tied the score 1-1 at the time being.

Hunter Breed and Glen Marshall also picked up base hits for OCS late in the game but could not cross home plate when in scoring position.

Hayden Robinson was the starting pitcher for OCS and took only his second loss of the year. Robinson gave up six hits and four runs while recording two strikeouts in two innings of work against the Warriors.

OCS will now go up against Mangham and Delhi Charter to close out the regular season.

St. Fred will close out the regular season next week after traveling to Southwood.
