Local youth of all ages will have a chance to take part in summer soccer camps in Ouachita Parish.

ULM head coach Stacy Lamb and her staff announced this week that they will host a camp from June 8-12.

The camp will feature instructors from not just the ULM coaching staff and roster but OCS and other area schools with solid high school playoff experience will be present to offer advice and instruction.

A team camp and individual skills camp will be going on each day at different times.

The team camp will be from 9 a.m.-noon each day and again from 5:30-8 p.m. at a cost of $100 per player.

The individual skills portion of the camp will be each day from 8-9:15 a.m. for 3-6 years old, 9:30 a.m.-noon for ages 7-18, and a night session from 5:30-8p.m. for ages 7-18.

Ages 3-6 will have a cost of $70. All other ages in the individual skills camp will have a cost of $150.

OCS head coach Bruce Deaton has also announced that the Eagles will host a summer camp on the OCS campus from June 22-24.

Players in the first-fifth grades will be invited to attend each day of the camp from 9 a.m.-noon.

Sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students will be given instruction from 1-4 p.m. The cost of the OCS camp is $50 and entry deadline is May 29.
