The Jeffrey Wooden Memorial Foundation will hold its first WoodyStock Golf Tournament this weekend at Black Bear Golf Club in Delhi.

Events begin with a lunch for golfers at noon Saturday, April 25, with tee-off to follow at 1 p.m.

Entry fee for the two-man scramble is $75 per person. A Harley Davidson will be awarded as a hole-in-one giveaway. Door prizes will be given and a raffle will be held.

Hole sponsorships are $100. A hole sponsor and team is $500. A hole sponsorship, team and banner is $1,000.

The funds raised from this event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Friends of Jeffrey Wooden developed the foundation to honor him and help other families in need during the battle with catastrophic illnesses. Wooden died of colon cancer at age 35, and left behind a wife and three young children. He was an aviation graduate of the University of Louisiana-Monroe and had worked at one time for Legacy Aviation in Monroe.

For more information, contact Brian Simpson at (318) 341-1752 or Nike Wooden at (318) 878-5995.
