The annual Blend of the Bayou will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at the home of Sue and Walter Sartor, 2110 Island Drive, Monroe.

Funds raised at the annual event are dedicated to educational and community outreach programs of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council.

Blend of the Bayou features "men who cook and men who mix," preparing unique food and beverage specialties.

Also featured will be The Bayou Gallery, a chance to bid on original art from some of the area's leading visual artists.

Tickets are $40 per person and are available at The Toggery and City Apothecary Pharmacy. Bayou Benefactor tables are available for $500. The table for eight includes servers to take care of drinks and dining requests.

Sponsors for the fundraiser include presenter BancorpSouth and IberiaBank, Marsala Beverage, Glazer's Companies of Louisiana, Cordill Butane • Propane Service, Regions Bank, Waste Management, CenturyTel and Community Trust Bank.

To order by phone or for more information, call 396-9520.
