PAANEL plans Easter egg hunt in WM

The Philippine-American Association of Northeast Louisiana is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The event will be from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Lancaster Shelter at Kiroli Park.

Children can play games and hunt for eggs filled with prizes.

Traditional Filipino cuisine and American dishes will be served at lunch. Admission to Kiroli Park is 50 cents per person.

Attendees are encouraged to bring one dish, one dessert and one beverage.

PAANEL is a philanthropic and social organization of family and friends of Filipino descent. It was organized in 1991 to promote goodwill and camaraderie among members and their families. It has a membership of more than 100 families from Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.
