Not only will Louisiana Tech begin their conference schedule against Nevada at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park this weekend, but it will also be Kids Weekend at the Ballpark.
The series will kick off with "Free Hot Dog Friday," courtesy of Super 1 Foods in Ruston.
Fans will have the opportunity to receive one free hot dog as they enter the main entrance of the stadium, while supplies last. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Children will receive free admission on Saturday.
An Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Wal-Mart, will take place near the main entrance of the stadium between the first and second games of Saturday's doubleheader.
Children are encouraged to participate as the egg hunt will feature colored and special golden eggs.
The first game will begin at about 1 p.m., while the second one will follow about 30 minutes after the first game concludes.
On Sunday, children will have the chance to receive a package of Big League Chew Bubble Gum provided by University Crossing Apartments, once they enter the main entrance of the stadium, while supplies last.
Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
One free Papa John's Pizza will be given to the loudest fan in the stands and select fans will have the chance to participate in Bulldog Trivia to win a prize all weekend long.
For more information on Kids Weekend at the Ballpark, contact Tech's marketing department at (318) 257-2507.
