State Rep. Rosalind Jones will host three town hall meetings as an interactive affair for leaders and residents to discuss the state and focus of their community.

Ideas to address include business retention and recruitment, workforce, housing and education needs along with economic development. The meetings are open to the public.

The purpose is to provide specialized information targeting the needs of the community with hopes of seeking change for the district.

The first of the meetings will be held at the Henrietta Johnson Recreation Center, 2800 Burg Jones Lane, at 5 p.m. today, March 30.

Also at 5:30 p.m. are meetings on Tuesday, March 31, at the Emily P. Robinson Center, 3506 Jackson St.; and on Thursday, April 2, at the Lillie Marbles Recreational Center, 2950 Renwick St.
