Spring game headlines 'Super Tiger Weekend'
BATON ROUGE -- LSU has announced that the weekend of April 17-19 will serve as Super Tiger Weekend and will feature numerous events on the campus over the three-day period, including the Spring Football Game at 5 p.m. on April 18.
Other events hosted on campus during that weekend include track and field hosting the Alumni Gold Relays, baseball facing Tennessee in a three-game series at the new Alex Box Stadium, softball hosting Florida in a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday at new Tiger Park, and men's tennis facing Arkansas on Saturday at Dub Robinson Tennis Stadium.
In addition, LSU will celebrate the grand opening of the new LSU SportShop starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The LSU SportShop, located on the grounds of the Maravich Assembly Center adjacent to Mike the Tigers' Habitat, will also have giveaways as well has featuring numerous sale items that day.
Tickets for the LSU Spring Football Game are currently on sale for just $5. However, fans can receive a complimentary ticket by bringing in a coupon that can be downloaded here. to the LSU Athletic Ticket Office prior to Saturday, April 18.

Next week, LSU will announce plans for the Super Tiger Weekend Promotion, which will include giveaways and prizes. Among the prizes to be given away during Super Tiger Weekend include a pair of pregame sideline passes for the 2009 football home opener and two roundtrip airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental U.S.
