WM Springfest planned for 4/4
The city of West Monroe's Community Center will host "Springfest 2009" Saturday, April 4.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 400 South 5th Street in West Monroe.
Neighborhood families can enjoy fun, food, games, and prizes. Featured attractions will be a bungee run, obstacle course, spacewalk, and a petting zoo.
Wristbands can be purchased for $5 for each child ages 4 and up. Some attractions are age/size restricted.
A concession stand will be available, with items ranging from 75 cents to $1.25, including chili dogs, nachos, popcorn, pickles, sno-cones, sodas, and bottled water.
Face painting and a dunking booth will also be available.
