Roxana Butler is the Good Hope Middle School March Teacher of the Month. She teaches eighth grade keyboarding, sixth and seventh grade computer applications, and sixth and seventh math lab. Butler has taught at Good Hope for all four years of her career.

As an educator, she consistently contributes to her school. Having just received her Master's in Education Technology Leadership from ULM, she shares her expertise with her students and with her colleagues.

She is the producer of the CNN Morning Show at Good Hope which involves her students in broadcasting the news to the school.

Butler has been a presenter at the Northeast Louisiana Fair for two years and most recently presented at the LACUE Conference in New Orleans.

When she is not at school, Butler spends time with her family and friends.

She has one daughter named Kyera who attends Kiroli Elementary School. As a pasttime, Butler enjoys watching movies and traveling.

To honor her selection, Butler will receive a gift card to Chili's, a parking space for the month, a coupon for a free smoothie from Smoothie King and a certificate of recognition.
