The Monroe Symphony League's book sale will begin Saturday, March 7 at the Book Room, located at 320 N. 4th St. in Monroe. The sale will continue on Sunday, March 8 and Friday March 13-15. Times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays, and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.

Hundreds of book titles will be available in many genres. Records, tapes, Cds, DVDs, sheet music and magazines also are available for purchase.

Proceeds from the sale are used to support the Monroe Symphony Orchestra and the Margorie Stricklin Emerging Artists competition held each January.

A first-day $2 fee will be charged on Saturday, March 7.
