Curtis Thomas Gilreath
Mr. Curtis Thomas "C.T." Gilreath, 89, of Monroe, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2009.
His funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Richard Byrd officiating. Interment was at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Earlene Gilreath; and son, Curtis Hal Gilreath.
Survivors include his children, Dr. Richard Wayne Gilreath and wife, Betty, of Mt. Airy, N.C., James Gilreath and wife, Deborah, of Monroe, LaWanna Kerby of Niceville, Fla., LaVonna Smith and husband, Tim, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Belinda Kuluz and husband, Carl, of Olive Branch, Miss.; grandchildren, Sgt. Mary Therese Jentz USMC and husband Staff Sgt. Ray Jentz USMC of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Jeremy and Ashley Gilreath of Mt. Airy, N.C., Meredith and Donovan Johnson of Monroe, Greg Kerby of Niceville, Fla., Melanie Kerby and husband, Chris Garmon, of Niceville, Fla., Katherine Smith of Monroe, Jonathan Smith of Knoxville, Tenn., and Madeline and Regan Kuluz of Olive Branch, Miss.
Pallbearers were Carl Kuluz, Tim Smith, Jeremy Gilreath, Jonathan Smith, Greg Kerby and Woody Boles.
Cecil Duane Gorman Jr.
Funeral services for Cecil Duane Gorman, Jr., 24, of Bastrop, were at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bastrop, with President Ronald Oden officiating. Interment was in Causey Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Gorman passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Polk Dillon; great grandparents, L.P. and Aline Smith, Lorena Benson, and Willie Coker
Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Nicole Gorman; three children, Alyssa Nicole Gorman, Aline Kay Gorman, and Payton Marie Gorman; father, Cecil Duane Gorman, Sr. and step mother Melinda Dillon Gorman; mother, Nikole Paige Smith; paternal grandparents, Cecil and Jaunice Gorman and Dorothy Wallace Dillon; maternal grandparents, Butch and Shar Smith, and Wayne and Gwen Anderson; brothers, Caleb Smith, and Daniel Lee Gorman; sister, Celina Marie Gorman; and numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers were Dustin Raspberry, Shane Gorman, Cody Rodgers, Don Rodgers, Alan Coker, Bobby Crawford, Tommy Dillon, and Thomas Dillon.

Alice Christine Morgan Harrod
Funeral services for Alice Christine Morgan Harrod, 80, of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Fen. 18, 2009, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. Pastor Paul Lipe officiated. Intermentwas at Monroe Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe.
On February 16, 2009, she went to be with her Lord and Savior after a battle with lung cancer, which she fought with grace and courage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Daniel Morgan and Lou Ada Cochran Morgan; her son, Ronald Geoffrey Harrod; and her brother, Albert Daniel Morgan, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Chet Harrod, and his wife, Becky; her grandsons, Chandler Harrod of Los Angeles, California; Dr. Chambliss Harrod and his wife, Rebecca, and their twin sons, George and Wait, of Boston, Massachusetts; Bennett Harrod of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Michelle Harrod Houston of Baton Rouge, LA and her husband, Jeremy; her brother, M.G. Morgan and his wife, Joy; brother Billy Morgan and his wife, Sylvia, and sister in law, Alice Morgan, all of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as well as many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Frederick Huenefeld, Stewart Gentry, Mike Breen, Fred Huenefeld, Herschel Gentry and Charles Wilkins.

Memorial Services for Mr. Jerry Ronald Jackson, 66, of West Monroe were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe. with Rev. Raymond Gill officiating.
Jerry passed away on Feb. 14, 2009 in West Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Macon and Flora Mae Jackson and his brothers, Talmadge and Ted Jackson.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Robert Wayne Jackson and wife, Ann, Bill R. Jackson, David Jackson and wife, Carolyn, Jean Schrock and husband, Eddie and Joyce Schrock; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. R.L. "Marty" Martin, 74, of West Monroe, were at 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment was at Serenity Gardens.
Survivors include his sons, Michael A. Morrow and wife, Jennifer of Bastrop, and David T. Morrow and wife, Angela of Ruston; six grandchildren, Allan Morrow and wife, Shannon, Adam Morrow and wife, Rebekah, Devan Morrow, Dillon McDowell, Somer Courson, and Farrah McDowell; and two great grandsons, Connor Aidan Morrow and Dalton Bullen.
Pallbearers were James Masters, Allan Morrow, Adam Morrow, Dillon McDowell, Lonnie Blades, and Kip Mashaw. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Auttonberry.

Katherine Marie Stuart
Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine "Kathy" Marie Stuart, 71, of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment was at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Mrs. Stuart died Feb. 14, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Stuart; Children, Cynthia Pool and husband, Larry, Jeanne Taylor and husband, Steve, Harvey Guillot and wife, Kim, Ray Guillot, Amy Frasier and husband, Mike and Rebecca Wyrick; Brother, Bobby Ingram; 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services for Mr. Jesse M. Williams, 69, of West Monroe, were at 10 a.m.Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, with Rev. Laymond Tucker and Paul Daily officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun.
Mr. Williams passed away on Feb. 13, 2009 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rose Williams and by his brother, Floyd Wayne Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Williams; son, Poncho Williams and wife Angel; step-son, John Rutledge Jr. and wife Stacy; grandchildren, Jessica Pitarro and husband Brian, Caroline Williams, Paige Smith, Mallory Rutledge, Trey Rutledge, John Mark Miletello and Grayson Rutledge; brothers, Bobby Williams and wife Catherine, Malcom Williams and wife Barbara, and Guy Williams and wife Marilyn; sisters, Betty Jones and husband Garland, Frances Seese and husband Bill and Martha Ann Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.
