His funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Richard Byrd officiating. Interment was at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Cecil Duane Gorman Jr. Funeral services for Cecil Duane Gorman, Jr., 24, of Bastrop, were at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bastrop, with President Ronald Oden officiating. Interment was in Causey Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. Gorman passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009. Alice Christine Morgan Harrod Funeral services for Alice Christine Morgan Harrod, 80, of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Fen. 18, 2009, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. On February 16, 2009, she went to be with her Lord and Savior after a battle with lung cancer, which she fought with grace and courage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Daniel Morgan and Lou Ada Cochran Morgan; her son, Ronald Geoffrey Harrod; and her brother, Albert Daniel Morgan, Jr. She is survived by her son, Chet Harrod, and his wife, Becky; her grandsons, Chandler Harrod of Los Angeles, California; Dr. Chambliss Harrod and his wife, Rebecca, and their twin sons, George and Wait, of Boston, Massachusetts; Bennett Harrod of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Michelle Harrod Houston of Baton Rouge, LA and her husband, Jeremy; her brother, M.G. Morgan and his wife, Joy; brother Billy Morgan and his wife, Sylvia, and sister in law, Alice Morgan, all of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as well as many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
