Free exams for women offered Saturday
The Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute will offer a free pap smear and clinical breast exam to area women from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 24, at 411 Calypso St. in Monroe.
All women 18 or older, or who are sexually active, should have an annual Pap test (ages 65 or over, every three years).
The event is sponsored by the Louisiana Cancer Foundation and the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute in partnership with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Monroe and Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Northeast Louisiana Affiliate.
The exams are by appointment only.
