Celia and Paul James and Scott and Melody Rowdon, all of West Monroe, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Denise Rowdon, to Charles "Chuck" Johnson III, son of Cherri Kraus of St. Louis, Mo., and Charles and Sharon Johnson of Garland, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clint Parnell of West Monroe and Ms. Dorothy Rowdon and the late M.A. Rowdon of Amite.

She is a graduate of West Monroe High School and the University of Louisiana-Monroe, with a B.B.A. in accounting. She is employed with James Enterprises.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kraus and Ms. Frances Johnson and the late Dr. Charles H. Johnson, M.D., all of St. Louis, Mo.

He is a graduate of Eureka Senior High in St. Louis, Mo., and the University of Louisiana-Monroe with a B.A. in criminal justice. He is employed with the Monroe Police Department.
The couple will marry at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Vantage Building in Monroe.
