WM/WO Chamber to host "Louisiana's Promise"

Dr. Phillip Rozeman and Rep. Jim Fannin will be the featured speakers at "Louisiana's Promise," set for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the West Monroe Convention Center.

Presented by the West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce, the forum's aim is to create a community team to tackle the school dropout problem.

Community Leadership Teams are led by school superintendents across the state. Participants are wide-ranging, from governement, non-profits, faith-based organizations, school boards, school administrators and staff, and law enforcement.

Cost to attend is $17 per person. Reservations are required by Friday, Dec. 12.
