Republican Women plan "Taste of the Holidays' event
The Ouachita Parish Women's Republican Club will hold their annual "Taste of the Holidays" on Thursday, December 4th. The event will be held from 3:30-6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church on Loop Road in Monroe.
This year, the Blue Stars Mothers of NE Louisiana (mothers who have a son or daughter overseas in the military) will be the honored guests. A short program at 4:30 p.m. will feature Tammy Sebrun, president of the local Blue Star Mothers organization.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
