Monroe church plans first Camel Day First Christian Church in Monroe will host the first Camel Day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.
The church's well-known camel and nativity scene exhibit will be on display for family photos. There will be Christmas music and refreshments available throughout the day.
A caroling service around the nativity scene will be held at 5 p.m. Singing groups from area churches will be featured.
Light refreshments will be served following the service in the fellowship hall.
The church is located on the corner of Loop Road and Forsythe Avenue in Monroe.
