Monday, Dec. 1 — noon-1 p.m.-Advent luncheon in the fellowship hall. The public is invited to the brown bag lunch and devotional, "Advent and Christmas Through Matthew's Eyes." Advent luncheons will also be held Dec. 1, Deb. 8 and Dec. 15.
Wednesday, Dec. 3 — 6:30 a.m.-Men's prayer breakfast meets at Shoney's. 8:30 a.m.-Meet at church for 9 a.m. workday at the Food Bank(or go to the Food Bank at 9 a.m.) 10 a.m.-Adult Bible study. 6:30 p.m.-Choir and worship band meet for practice.

Ray of Hope, 1935 Winnsboro Road, Monroe.
Ray of Hope recently opened a thrift store. Hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, with a closure for lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours are 9 a.m.-noon.
Thrift store proceeds benefit the many Ray of Hope projects, including a food bank on Mondays, disaster missions and much more.
