The ULM volleyball team ended its season Sunday with a 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-17, 25-22) defeat at Louisiana-Lafayette inside the Earl K. Long Gymnasium in Lafayette.

Louisiana-Lafayette (8-20, 5-13 Sun Belt) was led by Elizabeth Inman's match-high 12 kills and .500 hitting percent. Kendra Hall contributed with a match-high 39 assists along with eight digs.

ULM (1-31, 0-18) setter Helen Theisen recorded her second double-double of the season with 32 assists and 11 digs. Mari O'Neal added nine kills and front line player Ashley Bland chipped in 12 digs, seven kills and seven blocks.

Senior Johanna Spreen ended the season with nine kills in the match and 346 for her career.

The Ragin' Cajuns took advantage of many Warhawk attacking errors to win sets one and three, 25-22 and 25-17. ULM answered back in set two. The Warhawks jumped out to an early 7-2 lead and never looked back. Throughout the first three sets there were no lead changes and only six ties.

The fourth set was a nail-biter featuring 17 ties and 11 lead changes. Neither team would lead in the set by more than three points. Facing a 21-21 tie, ULL's Lindsay Brown served a pair off aces to start a final 4-1 run and give the Ragin' Cajuns a fourth-set win and a 3-1 match victory.

ULM ended its season with O'Neal leading in the kills department with 219, Theisen assisting on 561 kills, Christy Tribble adding 554 digs and 21 service aces, and Bland contributing with 88 total blocks.
