The University of Louisiana at Monroe men's golf team has earned the No.18 ranking after two days of competition at the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate in Oahu, Hawaii.

Nathan McMullen leads the Warhawks and is tied for 23rd place after a round of 75 in his second morning on the golf course. ULM's Eddy Koracevic shot a 75, Parker Dire and Jeremy Cross each shot a 78, and David McKendrick came off the course with a second-round score of 80.

ULM entered the second day of competition in a tie for 13th with Cal-Poly. McMullen was on fire in the opening round as he shot 3-under par.

Koracevic shot a 74, McKendrick and Dire both scored a 75, and Jeremy Cross carded a 76 to round out the field for ULM.

San Diego State is tied for the team lead with UNLV as they currently hold a two-shot lead over the University of Texas.

Thomas Kua of Hawaii and Johan Carlsson of San Diego State share the top spot on the individual leaderboard at 7-under par. McMullen sat in the top 20 of the individual standings heading into the second round.

A hard-luck afternoon found him slipping farther into oblivion to the college golfing world. ULM continues to press toward an elusive Sun Belt Conference title.
