Monroe student wins scholarship
Monroe resident Drew Register recently won a $1,000 leadership scholarship from Chick-Fil-A, Inc.
Register was nominated by David Benson, operator of the Pecanland Mall Chick-Fil-A.
The scholarship program provides assistance to restaurant employees who want to further their education.
In addition, Register will be eligible for Chick-Fil-A's S. Truett Cathy Scholar Award, which provides additional $1,000 scholarships to the top 25 leadership scholarship recipients within the company each year. |
