Holzer named October teach of the month
The Good Hope Middle School teacher of the month for October is Maribeth Holzer.
She was selected by her peers for the honor. She teaches eighth-grade math, serves as a mentor to several new teachers, and helps sponsor Character Counts.
Her teaching career spans 11 years in Ouachita Parish, having taught four years at Shady Grove Elementary and six years at Good Hope Middle School. Currently she is pursuing National Board Certification.
Holzer will be rewarded with several gifts, including meal for two at Chili's, a parking space for a month, a duty-free week, a certificate of excellence, a feature on Edline, and a Colonels' Pride trophy for October. |
