Dardenne to speak to Quota Club

Jay Dardenne, Louisiana secretary of state, will be the featured speaker at the Oct. 23 meeting of Quota International of Monroe.

The noon meeting will be held at the Atrium in Monroe. Dardenne will speak to the group about his 10 favorite books on Louisiana history.

The Monroe Quota Club is a service organization which helps people with speech and hearing problems, and they participate in various other community projects.
