Mrs. Lena Mae Boyd, 82, of West Monroe, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe.
Her funeral was at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Sebastian Kallarackal officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Boyd; son, Thomas Henry Boyd, and brother, Vincent Charles Giovingo.
Survivors include her two sons, John Boyd and wife, Beverly, and Robert B. Boyd Jr. and Debbie Marsala, both of West Monroe; brother, Louis Giovingo of Monroe; two granddaughters, Pamela Boyd and Becky Haughton of Vidalia; and great-grandson, Thomas Henry Boyd.
Pallbearers were Vince Giovingo, Tommy Giovingo, Andre Pridgett, Danny Lenard, Donald Armstrong and Barney Harris.

Mr. Jon G. Camp, 74, of Monroe, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe.
Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, with interment following. Visitation was Monday evening at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gus Camp, and his mother, Mary Summerlin Orr.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Joy Joyner Camp of Monroe; sons, Jon Tyran Camp of Panama City, Fla., and Joffry Lee Camp and wife, Julia, of Milton, Fla.; daughter, Margette Reid and husband Michael of Denton, Texas; grandson, Charles Michael Reid of Denton, Texas; sister, Tezalee Crump and husband J.W. of Ball; mother-in-law, Monia Joyner of Mangham; brother-in-law, Dr. Lee Roy Joyner Jr. of Bogalusa; and sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Barclift.

Funeral services for Mr. Roy Howard Jones 74, of Monroe, were at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ with John Dobbs and Jason Barnard officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was immediately before the service.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Morriece Jones, Murphy Jones, James D. Jones, and Walter H. Jones Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Anne Stanley Jones; son, Donald Jones and wife, Frances; daughter, Allison Chapman and husband, Bill; five wonderful grandchildren, Whit and Ainsley Chapman of Monroe and Grayson, Thomas and Mary Frances Jones of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Lillian Stone, Ruth Newberry and Frances Sparks and husband, James D.; sisters-in-law, Betty Jones, Alma Patrick Jones, Delores Jones, Judy Hattaway and husband, Charles; brothers-in-law, Gerald Stanley and wife, Sherry, and Richard Stanley and wife, Betty Carol; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were White Graves, Joe Cassiday, David Burkett, Mike Riley, Gerald Stanley, Paul Benjamin and Gary Stanley. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of Ouachita Distributing and his numerous nephews.

Jeanne Bouissey Montgomery
Mrs. Jeanne Bouissey Montgomery, 83, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Joe Puthuppally officiating. Arrangements were by Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation was Tuesday evening.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leo Montgomery; her parents, Lawrence and Mildred Bouissey; and brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Vernon Bouissey.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Montgomery Yarbrough; sisters, Kay Moomey of Monroe and Norma Bouissey of Malone, N.Y.; one brother, Edward Bouissey of Healdsburg, Calif.; her favorite (Gran-Dog) Sadie; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Robert Lewis Patterson, 59, of Monroe, passed away on the morning of Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Lafourche Parish.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Revs. Ray Owens and John Yates officiating. Interment with military honors was at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation was Wednesday evening.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Patterson of Columbia.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Marie Patterson; two daughters, Robin Edgeworth and Ronda Kinison and husband, Ray; four sons, Raymond Patterson, Rodney Patterson, Eddie Ray Sonnier and wife, Lesli, and Robert Patterson II and wife, Brooke; 12 grandchildren, Ashley and Hunter Edgeworth, Brittany Patterson, Robert Patterson III, Matthew Trichel, Raymond Patterson II, Jessica Patterson, Robbie Patterson, Melissa Patterson, Daniel Maylum, TJ Sonnier and Paul David Sonnier; his mother, Ruby Patterson; two brothers; and two sisters.

Mrs. Arlene Holloway Perot, 78, of Delhi, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mettie Pepper Holloway; sisters, Lola Mae Ezell, and Louise Southern; and brother, Thomas (Hoot) Holloway Jr.

Survivors include his faithful caregiver and wife of 63 years and 9 months, Evelyn Puckett Russell; children, Nancy and Charles Elmore, Johnny and Greta Russell; grandchildren, Charlene and Brian Ragan, Wendy and Joseph "Bill" Chandler; great-grandsons, Tyler and Spencer Ragan; sisters, Eloise Simmons and Carolyn Burkett; brother, Reginald Russell and wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Margie Puckett Douglas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
