The Eagles of Ouachita Christian School continued to soar past all comers with a 41-6 thumping of the Madison Parish Jaguars Friday night in Monroe.

OCS (4-0) unleashed another big offensive output as Matt Kennedy rumbled for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Jacob Davis completed 15-of-22 pass attempts for 200 yards and hooked up with Glen Marshall for touchdown strike. Marshall now has four scores on the season for OCS.

Kennedy got the Eagles on the scoreboard first with a 1-yard plunge for an early 7-0 lead. Sophomore Trent Temples scored his first touchdown of the season moments later as OCS built a 14-0 lead after one quarter of action.

Less than four minutes into the second quarter, Davis scampered away from two Madison defenders for a 2-yard touchdown run, his first of two scores on the night.

Kennedy again found the end zone. This time from 5 yards out, handing OCS a 28-0 halftime lead.

Madison got on the board late in the third with an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Fred Estes. Davis found Marshall on their 38-yard touchdown strike to answer the Estes touchdown return to put the game out of reach. A third touchdown run from 8 yards out by Kennedy closed out OCS's scoring in the fourth quarter.

OCS out gained Madison 370-158 in total yards on the night as the OCS defense pitched a shutout. The Eagle defense also forced three turnovers leading to scores.

The Eagles will entertain rival Sterlington Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. KHLL 100.9 FM will broadcast the game.
