PAWS, Petco hold monthly adoption event
PAWS of Northeast Louisiana will hold a pet adoption day from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Petco in Monroe.
The dogs and cats are from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter and can be seen online at www.parishpets.petfinder.com.
The adoption fee is $60 for dogs and $40 for cats. The fee includes a spay/neuter certificate, and the 7-in-1 and bordetella vaccinations. Adopters will also receive an adoption kit and a cat or dog training DVD.
Anyone who comes to Petco during the event can receive one free pet ID tag through the PAWS' "Tag Your Pet" program.
