Brad Aaron, 39, of West Monroe, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Bro. Lavelle Spillers officiating. Interment was in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Visitation was Saturday evening.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Harvey and Francis Aaron and A.E. Chapman.
Survivors include one daughter, Heather Aaron of California; parents, Jerry and Lena Aaron; sister, Sherri Albritton and her husband, Benji; nephews, Logan and Landyn Albritton, all of Farmerville; grandmother, Evelyn Chapman of Carriere, Miss.; long-time friends, James Shipman and family of Peru, Ind.; and a special friend, Dorothy Brown of West Monroe.
Pallbearers were Benji Albritton, Logan Albritton, Landyn Albritton, Bobby Aaron Jr., Roy Aaron, Joe Aaron Jr., Randy Hilburn and Gerry Aaron.

William Sidney Buckley Jr.
Mr. William Sidney "Bill" Buckley Jr., 78, of Monroe, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2008.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Graceminster Presbyterian Church with Revs. Steven S. Bryant and Jack B. Phelps officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation was Thursday evening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William S. "Willie" Buckley Sr. and Lucille McHenry Buckley; his wife, Hazel Chambliss Buckley; and his brother, Albert W. Buckley.
Survivors include daughters, Ruth B. McDonald and husband, Patrick, of Monroe, Mary B. Clark and husband, Kip, of Madison, Miss., and Martha B. D'Amico and husband, Dan, of Madison, Miss.; five grandchildren, Erin Clark, Nicklas McDonald, Emily Clark, Sidney D'Amico and Shelby D'Amico.

Mr. Ira W. Fallin, 91 of West Monroe, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in West Monroe.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Elder W.C. Hatten officiating. Interment was in Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant. Visitation was Tuesday evening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Fallin; mother, Mattie Easterling Fallin; father and step-mother, Randell and Palma Fallin; and a daughter, Linda Coburn.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Fallin and Randell Fallin; sister, Irene Taylor and husband, Roy; eight grandchildren, John Fallin and wife, Amanda, Charles Lynn Fallin, Genita Dove and husband, Shane, Sarah Woody and husband, Paul, Dr. Lance Fallin and wife, Dr. Shelly Fallin, Robyn Alleman and husband, Mark, Sandra Patterson and husband, Rusty and Kevin Miller; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Brenda Sue Goza
Brenda Sue "B.B." Goza, 60, of West Monroe, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in Monroe.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Barry Blanton officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun. Visitation was Monday evening.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roma Kenneth Goza, and step-father, Virgil Cloyd.
Survivors include two daughters, Jayla Turlington and husband, Robert, and Dana Deloach; mother, Lorea Cloyd; four grandchildren, Niki Ruiz, Tristan Turlington, Kane Turlington and Tracy Deloach; sister, Vicky Dickerson and her son, Kenny; brothers, Mark Goza, Jay Cloyd and wife, Fran, and their children, Ashleigh, Katie and Alli; brother, Randall Cloyd and wife, Pam, and their children, Kelly and Kyle.

Mrs. Joyce Baisden Hoosier, 58, of West Monroe, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in West Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louie Johnson; nephew, Brandyl Johnson; grandson, Daniel Marvin Johnstone Jr.; and sister, Barbara Jean Johnson.

Eva Mae Keith
Eva Mae Keith, 86, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Her funeral was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Revs. John Parker and Danny Hawthorne officiating. Burial was in Monroe Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation was Friday evening and immediately before the service Saturday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Alfred L. Keith of 50-plus years; son, Frank Keith; and granddaughter, Kathy Keith.
Survivors include one son, Bobby A. Keith and wife, Janet, of Monroe; daughters, Gladys Hall and husband, Donie, and Helen Parker and husband, John, all of Monroe; sisters, Helen Johnson of Sulphur; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Jamey Keith, Westley Frith, John Parker, Joseph Foster and Brad Parker; and great-grandsons, William Frith, Matthew Parker and Chad Williamson. Honorary pallbearers were Monroe Stewart and Carlton Smith from the Ouachita Council on Aging.

Robert Lewis Patterson, 59, of Monroe, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Lafourche Parish.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Marie Patterson; two daughters, Robin Edgeworth and Ronda Kinison and husband, Ray; four sons, Raymond Patterson, Rodney Patterson, Eddie Ray Sonnier and wife, Lesli, and Robert Patterson II and wife, Brooke; 12 grandchildren, Ashley and Hunter Edgeworth, Brittany Patterson, Robert Patterson III, Matthew Trichel, Raymond Patterson II, Jessica Patterson, Robbie Patterson, Melissa Patterson, Daniel Maylum, TJ Sonnier and Paul David Sonnier; his mother, Ruby Patterson; two brothers; and two sisters.

Rev. Isaac A. Patton, 90, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, David Wayne Patton; one brother; and six sisters.

Mr. Harvey Todd Platt, affectionally known as "Flip Top Pop", 70, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his son, Daryl Wesley Platt; infant grandson, Lil Slugger; parents, Oliver and Viola Smith Platt; sisters, Nita Ellis, Myrtis Swillie, Dorothy Morris, Lois Wollenson and Gladys Platt; and brothers, Charlie, Chester, Marvin and James Platt.
Survivors include his wife, Marty Platt; daughter, Dawn Meeks and husband, Kevin; sons, Damon Platt and wife, Candida, and David, Daniel, Douglas, Derrick and Donovan Platt; grandchildren, Patsy, Summer, Jonathan, Cheyenne, Shawn, Brandy, Christy, Anna, Kayla, Damon Jr., Renne and Donovan Jr.; great grandchildren, Brendan, Stormie and Evan; brother, O.D. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Ruth Rountree; son, Reggie Rountree and his wife, Sheryl; three grandchildren, Kimberly Rountree of Dallas, Texas, Glenn Rountree and his wife, Jeri, of West Monroe, and Mark Rountree and his wife, Jennie, of Silver Springs, Md.; great-granddaughter, Katie Rountree; nephew, Bobby Deprang of Shreveport; sisters-in-law, Mavis Mangum, Wilma Harris,and Doris Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marvin Salsbury
Mr. Marvin Salsbury, 84, of West Monroe went home to be with his Lord and savior at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, with his loving family surrounding him.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at Community Baptist Church with Revs. Danny McIlveene and Mark Foster officiating. Interment was in Chatham Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation was Saturday evening at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ila Salsbury; four brothers; one sister; daughter, Cindy Wray; and grandson, Sgt. Chris Heflin.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 22 years, Marie Salsbury; son, Tim Salsbury and wife, Diane; daughter, Meleasa Ellis; sister, Nita Moreau and husband, Eddie; brothers, Lonnie Salsbury and wife, JoAnn, and Charles Salsbury and wife, Bonnie; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lena Mae Sacco Warlick of Monroe passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Warlick Sr.; children, Ruth Green and William C. Warlick Jr; and two grandchildren, Denise Warlick and Bobby Snow.
Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Snow of Calhoun, and Elizabeth Miller and husband, William, of Monroe; daughter-in-law, Margie Warlick of Bossier City; special son, Kenneth West; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; six nieces; one nephew; and two caregivers, Bertha Robinson and Deborah Dunn.
