Jones sponsors free seminar for non-profits

State Rep. Rosalind D. Jones will sponsor a free Non-Profit Seminar aimed at educating grassroots organizations in financial management and fundraising.

The seminar will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the University of Louisiana-Monroe's student union building, room 161.

Featured speakers will include Kay Irby of the Louisiana Association of Non-Profit Organizations; Laralee Dehart, a certified public accountant; and Greg Nelson, ULM director of annual giving.

Any non-profit organization seeking state funds through the legislative office is strongly urged to attend.

Reservations are required and seating is limited. To register, call 362-5476.
