Jimmy Keith Beach
Jimmy Keith Beach, 49, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at his mother's home in West Monroe after a lengthy illness.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Interment was in Drew Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Chris Arnold; his mother, Mary Caldwell; his brother, Phillip Beach; brother, Joey and sister-in-law, Cyndi Beach; brother, Charles and sister-in-law, Lynette Beach; his sister, Lynette and brother-in-law, Dennis Lenard; sister, Pam and brother-in-law, Ernest McHenry; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Beach, and stepfather, Pascal Caldwell.
Pallbearers included Casey Beach, Cody Beach, Jonathan Arnold, Bryan Oliver, Kevin Caston and Anthony Perkins.

Joyce Elaine Stewart Forwood
Mrs. Joyce Elaine Stewart Forwood, 80, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is this evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Forwood.
Survivors include her children, Victoria Forwood Waits and husband, James, of Monroe, N.C., Debra Forwood Kerrigan and husband, Bobby, Frank P. Forwood III, all of Monroe, and Mark Stewart Forwood and wife, Marie, of Swartz; grandchildren, Morgan and Abbey Waits, Trey and Chris Dubose, Melissa McClelland, Heather Gilbreath, Jonathan Forwood and Brant, Matthew, Zach, Justin, Kandice, and Alex Forwood; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Lanelle Powell of Virginia, and Reve' Perreault of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Guy B. Gannaway
Mr. Guy B. Gannaway, 73, of Monroe, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2008.
Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with John Van Veckhoven officiating. Visitation was immediately before the service.
Survivors includes his wife, Gloria L. Gannaway; sons, Bill Kettler and wife, Sheri, of Jennings, Brad Gannaway and wife, Heather, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Douglas Gannaway of California; one daughter, Tracy Gannaway of Monroe; two brothers, Terry Gannaway of Monroe and Gary Gannaway of Austin, Texas; one sister, Janice G. Blankenship of Prattville, Ala.; special sister-in-law, Joyce Tyner; four grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

George W. Greer
George W. Greer, 88, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, in Monroe.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Graveside services followed at 1 p.m. at Nebo Cemetery in Jena. Visitation was Friday evening.
He was preceded in death by his father; William Jasper Greer; mother, Lela Stella Wallace Greer; brothers, Willie Greer Jr. and Woodrow Greer; grandson. Mark Wilkinson; five half brothers; and three half sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Faye Girlinghouse Greer; daughters, Dyann Jennings, Marilyn Rousseau and Susan Odaware; brothers, Edward Greer and H.C. Greer; sisters, Ethel Hammon and Theo Barr; grandchildren, Ellen Kay, Stephan and Eric Jennings, Dustin and Derek Odaware; and eight great-grandchildren.

Annette Pitarro Inzerella
Mrs. Annette Marie Pitarro Inzerella, 75, of New Iberia, and formerly of Monroe, passed away at New Iberia Medical Center at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008.
Her funeral was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment was in St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Joseph Inzerella of New Iberia; three daughters, Patricia Annette I. Manes and her husband, John Allen, Cynthia (Cindy) Marie I. Pugliese and her, husband Emil Michael, of Toms River, N.J., and Maria Theresa Inzerella of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Christopher Lee Manes and Gretchen Nichole Manes, both of Dallas, Texas, and Sara Bethany Manes of Broussard, Emil Nicholas Pugliese and Emily Annette Pugliese of Toms River, N.J.; one great-grandson, Christopher Elliott of Toms River, N.J.; one great-granddaughter, Brianna Lynn Pugliese of Toms River, N.J.; two sisters, Frances P. Conti of Monroe, Elizabeth (Libby) P. Fontana of Greenville, Miss.; her brother, Salvadore C. Pitarro and his wife, Pat, of Monroe; and a sister-in-law, Mamie Pitarro of West Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Frank and Josephine Denise Pitarro of Monroe; two brothers, Charles Frank Pitarro Jr. and Ricardo (Lil' Ricky) Pitarro of Monroe; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Catherine Inzerella of New Iberia.
The family request that any donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and/or St. Matthew Catholic Church in Monroe.

Bernice Templeton Keene
Mrs. Bernice "Bonnie" Templeton Keene, 87 of West Monroe, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, in West Monroe.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Monroe Memorial Park with Rev. Hallum officiating. Arrangements were by Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grason Keene.
Survivors include her son, Jerold Keene; her five grandchildren, Paige Farmer and husband, Paul, Jason Keene, Eric Keene, Richard Keene and Jennifer Deshazo and husband, David; three great-grandsons, Conor, Jacob and Sam Farmer; and many other friends and relatives.

Patricia June Pearson Meriwether
Patricia June Pearson Meriwether died Wednesday from complications of post-polio syndrome.
A memorial service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thompson White Meriwether; and her parents, Oscar Wallace Pearson and Marion Pearson Dunn. Survivors include her daughters, Sunny (Marion S.) Meriwether and her life partner, Joe Saunders; Charlotte M. Wrather and her husband, Chris; and Betty M. Adkins and her husband, Marty; her beloved grandchildren, Patricia Louise Montgomery, Mary Margaret Bradley and her husband, Corey, Robert T. Montgomery, and Mabry M. Slemmons Agnew and her husband Brendan; great-granddaughter Hailey Blachley; her brother, William W. Pearson, wife, Betty B. Pearson and their daughter, Erie P. Vitiello, her husband, Michael and their children, Elizabeth and James; nephew, Stan Haskell and nieces, Lisa and Sue Meriwether and their children.
A memorial service for Pat will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30th, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Joseph S. Morison
Col. Joseph S. Morison (USAF, retired), 77, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, surrounded by his loving family and following a courageous battle with cancer.
A memorial celebration will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, with Dr. Allison Moody officiating. Visitation will follow at the funeral home. Private gravesite services will be at the cemetery.
He wa preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Smith Morison. Survivors include Margaret, his loving wife of 52 years; daughter, Sue Morison of Monroe; daughter, Sherri Morison Hanks and husband, Col. Tom Hanks (USMC, retired) of Huntsville, Ala.; special niece and nephew, Leesa and David McMillin of Monroe; numerous nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; his two especially treasured great nephews, Brady and Cody McMillin, who were like grandchildren to him; a beloved sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Jimmy Carver of Leland, Miss.; an aunt, Rachel Ambler of Richmond, Va; and his three "grand-dogs" who were special in his heart, Emma, Callie and Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that any donation be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

Estelle R. Nalley
Mrs. Estelle Rowe Nalley 82, of West Monroe, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2008.
His funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Larry Hibbard officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun. Visitation was Sunday afternoon.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bennie T. Nalley. Survivors include her two daughters, Beverly Ann Mosley and husband, James, and T.K. Waugh and husband, Jamie; son, Sam C. Nalley; granddaughters, Nikki Mosley, Lynde Eastman, Chesney Eastman and Cheyenne Bradley; grandsons, Wade Mosley, Cole Nalley and Chase Eastman; sister, Nata Brasher; sister-in-law, Melba Roberts and brother-in-law, Virgil Nalley.
Pallbearers were Wade Mosley, Cole Nalley, Chase Eastman, James Mosley, Jamie Waugh and Keith Tippen.

Jake D. Saxon Sr.
Memorial services for Mr. Jake D. Saxon Sr., 68, of West Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Dennis Anger officiating. Visitation was Friday evening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Beaman and Marie Saxon; brother, Dale Saxon; and a great-grandson, Tyler Worsham.
Survivors include his four children, Terri Crawford and husband, Joe, David Saxon and wife, Lisa, John Adam Saxon and wife, Judith, and Sandra Saxon; one brother, John Beaman Saxon Jr. and wife, Ruth; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosetta Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvie Asbury Wallace; mother, Bertha Mae Caldwell Wallace; and sister, Faye Wallace Saucer.

Mrs. Elsie Webb, 97, of West Monroe, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, in West Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin T. Mix; mother, Maggie Bailey Mix; and brother, Charlie Mix.
Survivors include her cousins, Etta Ward, Shirley Freeman, Elsie Lee Kennedy, Autice D. Bailey and John Moore; longtime caregivers, Lannie Johnson and Judy Coon; and her close friend, Cathy M. Trichel.
Pallbearers were Ivey Freeman, Bobby Freeman, Michael Freeman, Michael Paul Freeman, Jake Wallace and Darren Owen. Honorary pallbearers wasTerry Freeman.
