Tellifero will preach a sermon entitled "The Mark That Saves Us." 10 a.m.-Reception in the parlor to honor retiring day-care director Gayle Harsin. 4:45 p.m.-Prayer group meets; Children's program for all kicks off with choir, to be followed at 5:30 p.m. by a "Mashed Potato Bash." 5 p.m.-Junior, senior high youth meet; Pathfinders meet. Also, "Supper & Study" starts this week at 5 p.m. with a light supper and then a choice from one of three eight-week Bible studies: "Don't Know Much About the Bible," a men's study led by Steve Lindsey on everything you need to know about the Good Book but never learned; "When Wallflowers Dance: Becoming a Woman of Righteous Confidence," a women's study led by Ramona Putnam that encourages women to move away from the walls and closer to the heart of God; and "Winning When the Four Horsemen Ride," an in-depth study of Revelation 1-8:5 led by Tellifero that looks to apply the word of God to our lives. Thursday, Sept. 11 — 9:30 a.m.- 50+ Group meets in the fellowship hall. 6 p.m.-Volunteer work day at the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank. Work days are second Thursday of month at 6 p.m. and first Wednesday of month at 9 a.m.

Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, 1009 Ridge Ave., West Monroe
Saturday, Oct. 25 — 9 a.m.-3 p.m.-Jars of Clay Women's Ministry will hold a church bazaar.
The bazaar will include arts, crafts, antiques, jewelry, collectibles and holiday items.
Booths rentals are available for $35. Electricity is provided and the fee includes a table and chair in the 10x10 space. Set-up times are 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7-9 a.m. Saturday. Deadline to sign up is Monday, Sept. 15.

St. Patrick Episcopal Church, 1712 Wellerman Road, West Monroe.
Saturday, Oct. 18 — 9 a.m.-5 p.m.-The church will host the 18th annual Herbal Harvest and Original Arts & Crafts show.
Participants may set up after lunch on Friday, Oct. 17, and security will be provided that night. A cash prize will be awarded for the most attractive booth of any crafter, artist or plant vendor.

Twin City Bible Church, 603 4th St. North, West Monroe.
Child Evangelism Fellowship Inc. will hold a "A Must Teacher Training" for leaders of after-school Bible clubs.
Materials will be available. Registration fee is $10.
The training is from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 and 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Twin City Bible Church in West Monroe.

The Knights of Columbus Auxiliary will sponsor a rummage sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at St. Paschal's gym in West Monroe.
Proceeds will benefit ARCO.
Tables are available to rent for $20.
