Milton B. Albritton, 74, of Downsville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, in Monroe.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Point Assembly of God in Point with Rev. Louis Bartet officiating. Interment was in Wilhite Cemetery in Downsville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Wednesday evening.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie J. Albritton; sons, Gerald Albritton and wife, Reba, Gary Albritton and wife, Dianna; step-daughters, Pati Gulat and husband, Joe, Carol Golden and husband, Mike; step-sons, Tim Waggoner and wife, Nancy, and Gerry Waggoner and wife, Rebecca; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were (D.J.) Dallas Jordan Marques, Ashton Albritton, Ryan Golden, Andrew Roberson, Matthew Waggoner and Jeff Hulsey. Honorary pallbearers were Goree Antley and Tyler Albritton.

Funeral services for Ronald Dean Burkett, 66, of West Monroe, were at 10 a.m. today, Aug. 28, 2008, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe, with Rev. Huey Diffy officiating. Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday evening.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Edna Burkett; daughters, Janice Cloud and husband, Dave, and Teresa Green and husband, Destin; three grandchildren, April Boyte, Colten Green and Dawson Cloud; and one great-grandchild, Georgia Grace Boyte.

Bob "Poo" Craighead of Tallulah, died at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008.
His funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Brother Rayland Trisler officiating. Burial was in Start Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Josie Craighead; one brother, Doyle Craighead; and a wonderful aunt, Jane Antley.
Survivors include three children, Darlene Craighead and Richard Frank of Monroe, Bobby Craighead and wife, Beth, of Longview, Texas, and Rex Craighead of Monroe; the mother of his children, Joyce Craighead of Monroe; four beautiful grandchildren who were the apples of his eye, Drew, Dustin, Kayla and Tyler; one brother, Red Craighead and wife, Beverly, of Calhoun; sister-in-law, Sue Craighead of Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barbara Gibson Wilson Lee, 49, of Bessemer, Ala., and formerly of West Monroe, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, after a sudden illness.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at White's Ferry Road Church of Christ with Alan Robertson officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Thursday evening at the church.
She was preceded in death by her father, James W. "Hoot" Gibson.

Joseph M. Marzula, 75, of West Monroe, finally won his long hard battle with cardiovascular disease by going home with Jesus, on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Methodist Hospital's DeBakey Cardiovascular Unit in Houston.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at St. Paschal's Catholic Church in West Monroe with Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation was Friday evening at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Ann Marzula; daughter, April Alicia Marzula; sister, Connie Buccola; nephew, Johnny Buccola; and brother-in-law, Bob Fowlkes.
