Brent Tippen of West Monroe has accepted a position in the San Francisco Bay-area with Chevron to handle public and media relations.

He is leaving U.S. Sen. David Vitter's office as the Northeast Louisiana regional director. Tippen received his M.A. in Communication from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and his B.A. in Speech Communication from Louisiana Tech University.

Tippen's primary responsibilities will include media relations, crisis communication, internal communication, and communication planning.

Tippen has already relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and has started his new position with Chevron.
