Jindal appoints Wilkerson to board

Mary Lynn Wilkerson, of Monroe, was reappointed this week by Gov. Bobby Jindal to the Small Business Entrepreneurship Commission.

Wilkerson is the state director of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Network.

The Small Business Entrepreneurship Commission's duties include assessing, evaluating and reviewing various state programs dealing with small business and entrepreneurship. The commission also advises the state regarding novel approaches in delivering assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

According to statute, the commission is comprised of 21 gubernatorial appointments.

Other appointees announced this week include Gary Bolden Sr., of Destrehan, Todd Graves, of Baton Rouge, Chris Gillott, of Baton Rouge and Drew Keahey, of Columbia.
