Mrs. Annie B. Bevans, 91, of West Monroe, went to be with her Lord at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2008.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Peyton Bass officiating. Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday evening at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack W. Johns; second husband, Wade Bevans; son, Aubrey Fay Johns; and three daughters, Alma Johns, Doris Morris and Glenda Eppinette.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine Fuller and husband Robert; grandchildren, Donald Morris and fiancée, Brenda, David Morris and wife, Frances, Earl Turnbow and wife, Linda, Jimmy Turnbow and wife, Diane, Sheila Turnbow and Glenda Faye Washam; stepdaughters, Barbara Griffin and Beverly Parks; sister, Ruby Anderson; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Barnes, Charles Bratton, Joe Murphy, Kenny McCurdy, Michael McCurdy and Roy Fuller.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cynthia Tradewell Bullock, 61, of West Monroe, were at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean officiated. Interment was in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Visitation was Saturday afternoon.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Morris Irving Bullock; two children, Brian Bullock and Alice Virginia "Ginger" Bullock Reeves; grandson, Dakota Laine Reeves; half-brother, Jimmy Tradewell; uncle, Owens Fontenot; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Mary Ann Bullock, Don and Norma Price; mother-in-law, Ruth Mae Pace Bullock; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Bill Simpson, Dennis Wedgeworth, Tommy Jones, Mike Hudson, Lee Green and David Green.

Larry Wayne Coon, 55, of West Monroe, died peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at Landmark Nursing Home.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Marlin Betts officiating. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun.
Visitation was held Thursday evening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Valena Coon; paternal and maternal grandparents; his "Uncle Jake" Shively; friends Steve Baker, Walter Allen and T.C. Martin; first wife, Beverly Pierce; brother, Sammy Coon; and cousin July Colvin.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette; his children from a previous marriage, Johnathan and Tiffany; step-daughter, Alexandra Campbell; his aunt, Faye Fitzgerald of Jonesboro; numerous cousins; and many friends.

Barry Steed Tate
Barry Steed Tate, 59, of Monroe, peacefully left this world following a difficult battle with brain cancer for more than two years. He was surrounded by his loving wife, friends, and family at his home when he passed on Monday, Aug. 6, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Tate Jr. of Memphis Tenn.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Sarah Tate of Monroe; mother, Dorris Tate of Amarillo, Texas; brothers, Bruce Tate and his wife, Margaret, of Amarillo, Texas, and Byron Tate and his wife, Pam, of Memphis, Tenn.; niece Shara Rinando and her fiancé, Ricky Axton, of Monroe; and extended family and special friends.
A memorial service was celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Billy Dye officiating. Interment was at 1 p.m. Monday in Memphis, Tenn.

Mrs. Van was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Floyd T. Van Jr.; and son, Bernie R. Van.
