Barry Steed Tate Barry Steed Tate, 59, of Monroe, peacefully left this world following a difficult battle with brain cancer for more than two years. He was surrounded by his loving wife, friends, and family at his home when he passed on Monday, Aug. 6, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Tate Jr. of Memphis Tenn.
