Felts, Eady announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Mark Felts Sr. of Monroe are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Renee Felts to Michael Kade Eady, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Eady of Eros.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Ralph Thomas Norman Jr. of Monroe and the late Mr. Ralph Thomas Norman Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Logan Felts of Leslie, Ga.

The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. Clayton McGrew of West Monroe and Mr. and Mrs. Harvie Eady of West Monroe.

Felts is a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and the University of Louisiana-Monroe with a bachelor's degree of business administration in accounting. She is currently employed with Johnson, Via and Via, CPA in Monroe. Eady is a graduate of West Ouachita High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a bachelor's degree in general studies. He is currently employed with Blake Offshore.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, with a reception following at Bayou DeSiard Country Club.
