The Family Justice Center of Ouachita Parish will host a Community Volunteer Academy training session from 8:45 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug.12-13, at 620 Riverside Drive, Monroe.

The Family Justice Center is a one-stop center for free and confidential services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. The class is for those who want to know more about domestic violence and those who would like to volunteer.

The training is free but space is limited, so please pre-register by calling Lena Victorian at 998-6046.
