BB/BS needs adult volunteers

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Louisiana is holding volunteer orientation sessions throughout the month of August.

The organization needs adults to spend one hour a week with a child playing a game, watching a movie, doing an art project or just talking.

Remaining workshops are from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 16, and from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 1103 Hudson, 2nd floor, in Monroe.
