Mrs. Lois Wilhite Anders
Mrs. Lois Wilhite Anders, 79, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Her funeral was at 10 a.m. today, July 17, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Larry Stafford officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation was Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. "Doc" Anders; parents, Elton and Eunice Wilhite; sister, Edith Wilhite Banks; and brother, Tom Wilhite.
Survivors include her two daughters, Betty Anders Reinhardt and husband, Roger, of West Monroe; Freda Anders Graham of Monroe; three grandchildren, Kristy Fuller Hutson and husband, Curt, of Prairieville, David Craig Fuller of Slidell, and Dr. Jeremy Graham of Baton Rouge; and three great-grandchildren, Harrison, Larkan and Falan Hutson, all of Prairieville.

Angelina Marie Messina Bruscato
Mrs. Angelina Marie Messina Bruscato, 101, of Monroe, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008, at St. Francis Specialty Hospital.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Visitation was Saturday with a vigil wake service at 6 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas F. Bruscato; sisters, Josephine Buttita, Sarah Dispenza and Mary Messina; brothers, Frank Messina, Samuel Messina and Joseph S. Messina Jr.; and grandson, John G. Bruscato.
Survivors include her three sons, Frank N. Bruscato and wife, Dianne, Anthony J. Bruscato and wife, Sam, all of Monroe, and Joseph S. Bruscato of Wildomar, Calif.; grandchildren, Ashley Elston and husband, Dean, of Shreveport, Jordan Bruscato and wife, Shantel, Sidney Michelle Bruscato and Molly Claire Bruscato, all of Monroe; great-grandchildren, Ross and Miller Elston; brothers, Anthony Messina and wife, Martha, and Carey Messina, all of Monroe; sisters, Martha Rizzuto and Rose Ditta, both of Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Frank Varino, Frank Bruscato, Gene Bruscato, Frank Bruscato, John Cruz, Carey Messina and Reese Griffin. Honorary pallbearers were the staff and residents of McKeen Plaza.

Cecelia Ann Bradley Clayton
Memorial services for Mrs. Cecelia Ann Bradley Clayton, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Baskin officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Benjamin Floyd Wilhite; and sisters, Catherine Ethel Bradley Butler and Jonnie Lillian Bradley Blaylock.
Survivors include her son, Barry Cameron Clayton of Eugene, Ore.; daughters, Heather Clayton Clegg and Renee Clayton Leavitt, both of Spokane, Wash.; grandchildren, Angela Clayton Klaus and companion, Glenn Johnson of Spokane, Wash., Jerramy McIlwain of Shreveport, Jason McIlwain and wife T.J. of DeRidder, twin Rebecca Kjelland and husband, Aaron, of North Dakota, Heather Birkhimer and husband, Jason, of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Robin Bruno and husband, Chris, of Monroe; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jane Bradley DeMasterson, Marie Wilhite Simpson, Juanita Wilhite Ellerbe, Robert Lane Wilhite and Billy Floyd Wilhite; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas O. Eubanks
Mr. Thomas O. Eubanks, 65, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Nat Barnett and Rev. Bob Clanton officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday evening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Johnnie Eubanks; brothers, Bob and Randy Eubanks; great granddaughter, Madilyn Ritchie.
Survivors include wife, Jean Eubanks of West Monroe; children, Thomas Lloyd Eubanks and wife, Renita, Michelle Upshaw and husband, Ken, and Melissa Eubanks, all of West Monroe; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and granddaughter.

Kyle Gealen Gimler
Mr. Kyle Gealen Gimler, 33, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008.
Memorial services were at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Fred Rushing officiating. Visitation was Tuesday before the service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Michael "Mickey" Gimler; maternal grandparents, Jean and Homer Wagner; and paternal grandparents, Julie Berryhill Gimler and Joseph Gimler.
Survivors include his mother, Jane Gimler Smith; godson, Bowden Alexander Varino; aunt, Nancy Zee; uncle, Larry Zee; cousins, Josh Zee and Jessica Price; and numerous friends.

Mr. Olan "Wayne" Hunter
Mr. Olan "Wayne" Hunter, 72, of Sterlington, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in MOnroe.
His funeral was at 10 a.m. today, July 17, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Kurt Auger officiating. Visitation was Wednesday evening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phelan and Era Hunter; brother, Lavoy Hunter; and sister, Ramah Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Yvette Lebon Hunter; daughter, Valencia L. Hunter; son, Edwin W. Hunter and wife, Tina Hunter; granddaughters, Adrienne M. Gowan and husband, Chris Gowan, Danielle Caston and Ashton Hunter; grandson, Lance Hunter; great-grandson, Jaid Gowan; sister, Shirley Moore; brother, Charles Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.

Randall W. Self
Mr. Randall W. Self, 50, of Sterlington, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, in Sterlington.
His funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Pentecostals of Twin Cities with Pastor Mike Foster, Pastor David Mayo and Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Interment was in Monroe Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Visitation was Friday evening at the church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David Self and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hopper, and nephew, Keith Parker.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Suzy; son, Gregory Self; daughter, Shana Wade Bourgeois and husband, David; parents, Waine and Jimmie Self; sister, Linda Parker and husband, Mike; grandsons, Kolby and Kaden; father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Joyce Sloan; best friend, his dog, Sadie; a number of nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
Pallbearers were Dennis Goodeaux, Mike Meeks, Walt Kemper, Lee Johnson, Kevin Welch and Matt Fife.

Mr. Michael Byron Wattick, 46, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday evening.
