The first "Sharing the Caring Festival," presented by Care Solutions and Angel Ministries, will be held from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at 509 N. 2nd St., Monroe.

The free event will start off with a garage sale at 7 a.m. sharp (no early birds, please). Carnival games, including a dunking booth, obstacle course with slides, face painting, clowns, balloons, bingo and a cake walk will be available throughout the day. Tickets for the games will be available upon arrival.

Food booths will include the sale of hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, nachos, chips, popcorn, snow cones and drinks.

Evening entertainment will include music and karaoke.

Angel Ministries executive director Linda Tripp said "There will be something for everyone in the family. All money generated by the festival goes to fund local projects by our companies."

For more information, about the festival, call Jodie at 362-0036.
