Patriotic concert on tap Sunday at Kiroli Park

Twin City Concert Band will conduct its annual patriotic performance Sunday at Kiroli Park in West Monroe.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. It's open to the public.

Jack White, director of Twin City Concert Band who has been a fixture on the musical scene in Ouachita Parish for years, will direct his final show. He will retire as director following the band's performance on Sunday.

Among the numbers the band will perform include "The Star Spangled Banner," "America," "Irving Berlin's Songs for America," "Liberty Bell March," "Longest Day," "America the Beautiful," "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "Stars and Stripes Forever."
