Mulhearn Funeral Home honored at conference Mulhearn Funeral Home was honored in celebrating its 49th year as a Golden Rule Funeral Home at the International Order of the Golden Rule Annual Conference in Chicago.
Butch Mulhearn attended the conference to accept the award from the International Order of the Golden Rule, which is a professional association of independently owned and operated funeral homes.
Golden Rule funeral homes across the country must meet and maintain a strict code of conduct and high ethical standards.
"We are very pleased to have the Mulhearn family as a member" said Karen Gentles, OGR director of membership.
"The family at Mulhearn Funeral Home has proven for 49 years that they are caring and compassionate professionals," Gentles said. "As a member of the Order of the Golden Rule, the owners and staff have dedicated themselves to continuing this tradition of caring for the communities they serve."
"It has been a privilege to maintain our ties to OGR," Mulhearn said. "Being a Golden Rule firm has helped our staff better serve families in northeast Louisiana offering them peace of mind and integrity they can count on."
"It is absolutely key to maintaining good relations with our clients in this very sensitive funeral industry," Mulhearn added.
"Service measured not by gold, but by the Golden Rule" has been the credo of the association since 1928. |
