Obituaries published on June 26, 2008 Claudia "Joe" Foster Balfour Funeral services for Claudia "Joe" Foster Balfour, 91, of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Marla Munn officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation was Thursday evening. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Balfour, in 2004. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Balfour and wife, Ellen; daughter, Becky Ham and husband, Mike; granddaughter, Margaret Balfour and husband, Adam McGaughey, of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Jay Balfour of Arlington, Va.; sister, Marjorie Malone of Dallas, Texas; brother, George A. Sallie Stancil Pace Benton Mrs. Sallie Stancil Pace Benton, 81, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Hays B. Clark Jr. Mr. Hays B. Clark, Jr., 84, of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008, in Monroe. His funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe with Rev. He was preceded in death by his wife, N. Dean Stinson Clark in 2005, and grandson, Charles Allen Reneau Jr. in 1998. Gerald Wayne Hendrix Gerald Wayne Hendrix, 55, of West Monroe, quietly and honorably left this earth early Monday morning after a fierce and courageous battle with Scleroderma.
