MSL book fair continues this weekend The Monroe Symphony League's book fair continues Friday, June 13 to Sunday June 15.
The book sale will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays.
Hundreds of titles will be available in many genres, including fiction, non-fiction, arts and crafts, gardening, religion, humor, sports, science-fiction, large print, mystery, children's, cookbooks, and textbooks.
The book fair also will have records, tapes, CD's, DVD's, sheet music and magazines.
Proceeds from the sale are used to support the Monroe Symphony Orchestra and the Young Artists' competition, and Sound Safari, a Monroe Symphony League project which gives area elementary students an opportunity to attend a live symphonic concert geared toward children.
