Friday, June 20 — 7 p.m.-Gospel singing event to honor Buzzy May, who was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease. The program will feature old-time convention class singing, special groups and singers from across the region. May, who has been active in the singing convention field for many years, has been a member of the May Trio and served as vice president of the Louisiana State Singing Convention. The public is invited to this free event.

Saturday, June 14 — 7 a.m.-noon-Church-wide garage sale in the Christian Life Center. 9 a.m.-Traditional service. 10 a.m.-Sunday school for all ages. 10:50 a.m.-Contemporary worship. New senior pastor, Rev. Jon E. Tellifero, will give a sermon entitled, "Catching the Vision" in both morning worship services. This being Tellifero's first Sunday, there will be a welcome reception for him in the parlor from 10-10:50 a.m. 5 p.m.-Junior/senior high youth meet; Pathfinders meet. 5:30 p.m.-Prayer group meets.
Monday, June 16 — 9 a.m.- Women's exercise class meets in the Unity Sunday School classroom; classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays during the summer. 6:30 p.m.-Boy Scout Troop 66 will meet in the Fellowship Hall and Christian Life Center.
Tuesday, June 17 — 9 a.m.-"Toning Your Temple" exercise class meets in the Unity Sunday School classroom. 9:30 a.m.-Terrific Tuesdays continues with a trip to the zoo.
Wednesday, June 18 — 6:30 a.m.-Men's prayer breakfast meets at Shoney's. 10 a.m.-Adult Bible study meets. 6:30 p.m.-Choir and band meet for practices.
Thursday, June 19 — 9:30 a.m.-50+ Group meets in the Fellowship Hall.
