Ricky Willis will give a sermon entitled "A New Day" in both morning worship services. A farewell reception for Willis will be held in the parlor from 10 a.m.-10:50 a.m. The I Love Lucie ladies' group will sell salsa before the worship services to support the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home as well as local mission projects. 5 p.m.-Junior, senior high youth and Pathfinders meet. 5:30 p.m.- Prayer group meets.
Monday, June 9 — 6:30 p.m.-Boy Scout Troop 66 meets in the Christian Life Center.
Tuesday, June 10 — 10 a.m.-Terrific Tuesdays for children starts today with a swim party. Lunch will be served. Next week the children will take a trip to the zoo.
Wednesday, June 11 — 6:30 a.m.-Men's prayer breakfast will meet at Shoney's. 9 a.m.-Ed Stinson Sunday School class will work at the NELA Food Bank. 10 a.m.-Adult Bible study meets. 6 p.m.-Comment Sunday School class will work at the NELA Food Bank. 6:30 p.m. Band and choir both meet for practice.
